What you need to know before coming to the yard.
We strive to keep your vehicle safe while it is in our yard that is why we require you to bring proof of ownership (title or current registration) and your photo I.D.
You can designate an agent to act upon your behalf. We have a specific form that must be completed and noterized.
Releasing vehicles to insurance carriers. We have a specific form that must be completed by the registered owner. Once that form along with proof of ownership has been completed either in our office or by fax, the insurance carrier can have your vehicle removed from our yard. Or you can release to your auto repair shop or body shop.
When you arrive to retrieve your vehicle or personal items: You must first report to the office. No visitor is allowed around any vehicle unless occompanied by a Nevada Towing employee. Only the legal and registered owner or their designated agent may obtain access to a vehicle held in impound. When retrieving your personal items you should understand that you will not be allowed to remove: sterios, tires, batteries or any item that is attached. We do not allow for any auto repairs to take place on the premises. You may have your vehicle removed to the street, if you need to make repairs.
The tow yard is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you must have access to your vehicle after hours or on the weekend you will need to pay a gate fee of $70.00. That fee must be paid in cash and at the gate. No exceptions. All after hour visits are by appointment only.
All Impounds are charged according to our Tariff on file with the State of Nevada.
No employee can change those rates.
